Dominant genes are..... symbolized by capital letters
Recessive genes are..... symbolized by lower case letters
A genotype is the..... actual genetic code (Bb)
A phenotype is... The way genes are expressed what is seen on the outside.
When purebred.... their is 2 identical genes for a trait (BB or bb)
When Hybrid.... you are having 2 Different genes for a trait (Bb)
Recessive genes are.... genes that are masked by a dominant gene.
when genes are dominant..... they only have 1 gene such as (bb) or BB)
The passing of traits from parent to offspring in known as.... Heredity
The scientific study of heredity is..... genetics
Mendel wound up creating the.... Punnett square
Genes are.... Genetic traits found in the chromosomes.
When making a complete Punnett square you.... Cross the 2 genes on top and on the left side together and cross them in the 4 boxes.
Organisms..... inherit genes in pairs.
The punnett square can be used to..... predict the results of a cross.
