Neutron A subatomic partical that has no charge.
Electron A stable subatomic particle that has a negative charge.
Proton A stable, positively charged subatomic particle .
Element A substance composed of atoms having an identical number of protons in each nucleus.
Atom part or particle considered to be an irreducible constituent of a specified system.
Luster Able to shine
Malleable Can be smashed without being crumbled.
Ductile Able to be drawn out into a thin wire.
Corrosive Any of various powdery or scaly reddish metal. (rust)
Density The quality or condition of being dense.
Nobel gases They are very nonreactive, rarely form compound.
halogens They are the reactive form of compound with the alkali metals.
alkali metal Highly reactive with water.
alkaline earth metals Vary reactive, but not as much as alkali metals.
transitional metal They are quite nonreactive.
Alloy A metal made by combining 2 or more elements.
