what are differentiated cells? it is different cells that have specialized jobs to do a task.
what is the process of mitosis? interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telephase, and cytokinesis.
what is asexual reproduction? you don't need a partner to reproduce, and its quick and efficient.
what is sexual reproduction? you will need a partner to reproduce, and it usually takes longer.
what is a stem cell? it is an undifferentiated cell of a multicellular organism.
what is a prokaryotic cell? it is a cell with no nucleolus.
what is a eukaryotic cell? it is a cell with a true nucleolus.
what does it mean to be unicellular? an organism with only one cell.
what does it mean to be multicellular? an organism with multiple cells.
what are the levels of organization of a multicellular organism? cell, tissue, organs, organ systems, and organism.
what are the characteristics of being alive? grows, reproduces, uses energy, organized, have cells, react to stimuli, and capacity to evolve.
what is DNA? gives directions for everything.
what is a blastocyst? it is a cluster of cells that haven't been specialized.
what is binary fission? division that bacteria goes through.
what is meiosis? it is the division sex cells go through like sperm and egg.
what is the definition of levels of organization? a group of similar cells working together for a job.
