what is info text? Answer:It is an article or story that is full of info that stays on one topic
Are opinions included in informational texts? Why or why not? Answer:No because info text are supposed to have real info not opinions
What are text features (definition and examples)? Answer:They help you understand the key ideas like maps and captions title, subtitle, heading, subheading, bold makes them stand out/italic print, pics, captions, charts/tables, bulleted list, glossary.
What does a title tell us about an article? Answer:It tells you what you're about to read about the whole entire article
What does a subtitle tell us about an article? Answer:It tells you more on what you're about to read
What is the difference between a heading and a subheading? Answer:the heading is the bigger title for more of the article and the subheading is just about a smaller section of the heading
Why are words sometimes bolded in informational texts? Answer:To show that they are important
Why do writers use bullet points for some information? Answer:It helps tell that you are about to start a new info sentence
What is the purpose of an introduction? Answer:It helps you understand the key idea more
Explain how informational texts are organized. Answer:the more important things are bolded and the text features are all around the article while the bolded word’s meaning is somewhere on the side
Explain the relationship between a central idea and supporting details (star ideas and E’s). Answer:the central idea is like the key idea and the details help you comprehend the central idea it will have examples for the central idea
