Task Series

What are the 5 MOVEMENT TASKS? Basic, refining, simplifying, extending, applying
What is the BASIC task? It INFORMS the task at hand. It is a starting point!
What is the REFINING task? It includes cues that will focus on the QUALITY of movement.
What are the EXTENDING and SIMPLIFYING tasks? These ADJUST the tasks in order to GUARANTEE success for all by INCREASING or DECREASING the difficulty.
What is the APPLYING task? It allows children to see what they've learned in context by INTEGRATION.
What is the difference between guided discover questions and exploratory questions? EXPLORATORY questions are open ended, and have MULTIPLE correct solutions that are DIVERGENT. GUIDED DISCOVER questions have SINGLE answers and are CONVERGENT.
