6.02E.Memebers of Tech. Rescue Team shall wear appropriate approved gear,as designated by the.. Rescue Chief, while enroute to emerg. Personal Protective clothing will also be carried in the Rescue vehical in teh event it is needed.
6.02F. EMS personnel will carry their personal protective clothing in designated area on the EMS unit. PPE will NOT be stored... Patient-Care area

6.03B.Personal Protective Clothing shall be worn while engaged with non-emerg. field operations during... Overhaul, and clean-up. IF the officer-in-charge deems that safety and efficiency will bot be jeopardized, memebers may remove their bunker coats.
6.03C.Approved gloves shall be worn when engaged in... overhaul,hose and ladder training,when using hand or power tools, and any other situation where injuries to hands are likely to occur.
6.03D.Indiviuals will be responsible to secure their PPE at all times. This includes... while vehicle is in motion,while gear is in storage, and while gear is in use.

6.04D.Whenever any exposure of personnel to respitory contaminants will occur or is likely to occur. Who will determine when the use of the SCBA is no longer nescessary for the safety of personnel during overhaul and the final stages of an incident. Incident Commander.
Carbon Monoxide reading that indicates the carbon monoxide does not pose a hazard and it should be safe to remove SCBA if no other resp.hazards exsist. 50 ppm or less OR 200ppm/15min.
6.04 E. ARFF clothing shall be worn by ARFF members within the Hot Zone. What are exceptions... HFD NFPA approved helmet, hood, SCBA may be worn in place of aluminum hood when advancing handlines for rescue and/or frie attack inside of an aircraft fuselage,after teh inital knockdown of the exterior fire.
6.05 PPE Cleaning contractor (PPE/CC)will be preforming cleaning and repairs and maintenance on all PPE within HFD... Once a year. In compliance with NFPA 1971and NFPA 1851

6.05A.A pick-up/delivery schedule will be provided to stations in adavance. According to members will place items in... Lg.30-45 gallon garbage bags. If a memebr debit day falls during five day off period or the mebre has already accepted OT, teh memebr must keep his/her gear until next scheduled pick-up.
6.05B.It's members responsiblity to complete tag for pick-up and attach to back for "Oncoming Shift" Station capt. verification.Bags should be ready before relief time, if emrg. response occurs before member is relieved the member will... tear open bag grab gear and make the response.
6.05B. Pick-Up/Delivery Tag will be inclusive of the.. date,name ,payroll,station,shift,PPE item,and signature.
6.05C.The oncoming shift capt. will verify that PPE items listed are teh items actually bagged. Upon verification, the station Capt. will... sign the tag to ensure that the member placed the bag in secure area.
6.05D.PPE/CC arrives at station,the PPE/CC in cojuction with station capt.will verify PPE items are in the bag listed on tag.Any discrepancies will be... noted on the PPE pickup/delivery tag and signed off by PPE/CC and station capt.
6.05 PPE/CC will pick up bags for cleaning and repairs. After cleaning has occured, the PPE/CC will deliver items back to the station before... 2000 hours, teh day prior to the membersfirst day return to duty.
6.05F.After PPE back at the station and the PPE/CC and station capt. will gain inventory and verify all items on tag. retain 2 copies of signed tag. IF any PPE items found missing at this time... PPE/CC is responsible for locating the missing gear or providing a loaner set prior to the start of the scheduled shift.
6.05G.Upon returning to duty, the firefighter will recieve their cleaned gear and verify with station capt. all items are accounted for by signing tag.IF PPE is not repaired or clean are not acceptable condition, the FF will... immediately notify the station capt. who wil notify Quartermaster.
6.05I. Quartermaster and PPE/CC will maintain a database on cleaning PPE.After 6-week pick/delevery cycle for station and shift, the FF missed their cleaning will... be reported to DC to ensure that ea. memeber complies with NFPA standard. FF missed scheduled cleaning pick-up will make arrangements with quartermaster to drop off and pick up their gear duing next available 5 days off period.
6.05H. Staion Capt. will maintain copy of completed pickup/delivery tag and forward the original to... Quartermaster
6.05J.Members are responsible for sending gear in for cleaning during ea. annual cleaning cycle.Who will ensure ea. member assigned to his or her command has completed teh required annual gear cleaning... Station Captains
