Parts of a microscope

Eyepiece Contains a tentimes magnifying lenses you look through
Body Tube Connects the eyepiece to the revolving nose piece
Arm Supports the body tube
Revolving Nosepiece Holds and turns the objective into viewing position
Objective lens Contains the lens for greater magnification
Disc Diaphram Lets you regulate the amountof light that hits the stage
Stage Supports the microscope slide
Stage Clips Hold the microscope slide in place
Fine adjustment Sharpens the image under high magnification
Light Source Provides light that passes upward through the diaphragm,specimen, and the lenses
Coarse Adjustment Focuses the image under low power
Base provides support for the microscope
