Law of Conservation of Mass it states that matter cant be created or disappear.
Physical Change a change is a substance that only affects the physical state.
Chemical Change a change that changes the substance and can not be reversed. the whole substance has changed.
Element a pure substance consisting of one type of atom
Chemical Formula a way of expressing information about the atoms that constitute a particular chemical compound
Element (Diatomic) Molecule molecules composed only of two atoms, of either the same or different chemical elements.
Compound Molecule an electrically neutral group of two or more atoms held together by covalent chemical bonds.
Chemical Equation symbolic representation of a chemical reaction where the reactant entities are given on the left hand side and the product entities on the right hand side
Chemical Reaction a process that leads to the transformation of one set of chemical substances to another.
Reactants (in a chemical equation) the equation the reactants (starting materials) and products (resulting substance), the formulas of the participants,
