Nichie A niche includes the type of food the organism eats, how it obtains this food,and wich other organiama use the organisms as food
Competition the struggle between organisms to survive as they attempt to use the same limited resource
predation An interaction in wich one organism kills another for its food
Predater the orginsm that does the killing
Prey the organism that gets killed
symbiosys is a close relationship between two species that benifts at least one of the species
mutualism a relationship in wich both species benifit
commensalism a relationship in wich one species benfits and the other species is neither helped or harmed
parasitism involves or organism living on or inside another and harming it
parasite the organism that benifits
Host the organism it lives on or in is called its host
orginism a living thing
habitat an enviroment the things an organism needs to live grow and reproduce
biotic factor a living thing in a orginisms habitat
abiotic a non living part of a organisms habitat
phtotsynthesis the process in wich organisms along with sunlight and carbon dioxide use to make their own food
species a group of organisms that are physically similar and can mate with each other and produce offsprings wich can mate and reproduce
population the members of one species in a area
community all the diffrent populations that live together
ecosystem the community of one organisms that live in a area
ecology the study of how living things interact with each other and their environment
estimate is a approximate of a number
birthrate is the births of a population in a certain amount of time
deathrate is the number of deaths of a population that die in a certain amount of time
Immigration is the movement of a population
emmigration the leaving of a population
population density the number of individuals in a area of a specific size
limiting factor is a environ mental factor that causes a population the decrease
carrying capacity the largest population that a area can hold
