Hang Man Gets Smarter

The old stick figure hang man character from your classroom's blackboard has gotten smarter at StudyStack.com.  Playing the game on your internet browser, you still guess letters to spell out a word; and if you guess wrong the stick figure gets drawn on the screen.  But if you need a little help, there is a "Hint" button that you can click that will give you a clue as to what the word is about.  Using the "Hint" button not only helps you win the hangman game; but it also helps you study at the same time.  And studying is what the StudyStack web site is all about. 
 
At StudyStack.com, students and teachers can enter data for displaying as flashcards.  Once the data has been entered, the site allows you to flip through the data just like flashcards.  However, the same data that you entered for the flashcards can also be displayed as a matching game, a word search puzzle, and a hang man game.  Thousands of data sets have been entered by other users.  So you may find that someone else has already entered the data for you. 
 
The web site also allows you to download the flashcards to your cellphone or PDA.  So you don't have to carry around a deck of index cards anymore if you are already carrying a cellphone.
